Who We Are Looking For
We welcome mentors from a wide range of backgrounds, including:
• Skilled trades professionals
• Engineers and technicians
• Business professionals
• Entrepreneurs
• Retired professionals
• Educators and trainers
No teaching experience is required.
What matters most is a willingness to share knowledge and encourage young people.
What Mentors Do
Mentors help students:
• understand real career options
• learn about industries and trades
• develop workplace awareness
• gain confidence in planning their future
Mentorship may involve:
• speaking at small group sessions
• answering student questions
• sharing personal career experiences
• encouraging students to pursue meaningful careers
Time Commitment
Flexible participation.
Mentors may volunteer:
• once per month
• occasionally for presentations
• during special events
